2021 CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP

(Possible 96 player limit)

August 6, 7 and 8, 2021

Tournament Entry Fee $40.00 per player

(plus pay green fees each day)

Championship Flight (Flight1) plays from the Copper Tees (54 holes Fri. – Sun.)

Friday (Silo/Indian) start time is 1:57pm.

Flights Two thru Five play from the Iron Tees, Flight 6 plays Silver tees. (36 holes Sat. – Sun.)

Saturday (Cottonwood/Silo) start time is 11:06am

 Sunday (Indian/Cottonwood) start time is 6:36am.

Format:

100% of course handicap will be applied by the computer for Net Scores

Players compete within their respective flights

The “Club Champion” will be determined as the player in the Championship Flight with the lowest gross aggregate total score for 54 holes

Ties will be decided by:

Championship Flight Low Gross:  Sudden death playoff

All other Low Gross or Net:  Ties for trophy winners will be decided via USGA and CGA rules utilizing scorecard playoff, starting with the competitors last 9 hole total, then the last 6, then the last 3, the 18th hole, and finally by sudden death playoff starting on hole #19

Ties for other Gross and Net positions will share the payouts equally

Friday tee times are assigned lowest to highest handicaps.

Saturday tee times are assigned in order from lowest to highest in the Championship Flight and lowest to highest in the other five flights. Flights are divided nearly equally across 6 groups.

Sunday tee times will be assigned Saturday afternoon after all players have submitted their scores. Tee times will be assigned in order from highest Saturday score to lowest Saturday score per flight.

PAYOUTS (96x$40=$3840 + $1200 = $5040/6=$840/flight)

Paying 6 places in each flight (3Gross, 3Net) ($160, 110, 90, 160, 110, 90) = ($720/flight) + Sunday Day Money ($70, $50) = $840/flight

Low Gross and Low Net Winners in each flight:

A PLAYER MAY ONLY WIN ONE PRIZE. IF A PLAYER QUALIFIES FOR MORE THAN ONE PAYOUT, HE WILL RECEIVE THE HIGHEST OF THESE AWARDS.

Low Gross Senior (Sat/Sun scores adjusted for tees played)(55+) Winner:  Trophy

Sunday Additional Prize Money (Day Money): Low Net score on Sunday in each flight pays two places.  You cannot win this $$$ in addition to Tournament payouts.
